OUR MISSION

In partnership with our community, Front St. Inc. provides residential services and person-centered mental health treatment that promote recovery and wellness.

OUR GROWTH

In 1982, the agency started as a single 6-bed residential program for adults and older adults with varied needs, ranging from mental health challenges, developmental disabilities and dementia. The founders, mother and daughter duo, Ms. Peggy and Ann Butler established their first of many residential care facilities with Santa Clara County. Without a mold to follow, the Butlers set out to create innovative programs that would serve the larger unquestionable needs of the community.

Decades later, Front St. now provides services to adults and older adults in a variety of settings throughout the California Bay Area, as well as a temporary shelter for homeless Veterans in Santa Cruz. Services include licensed residential programs, supported housing and mental health case management for the individualized needs of our clients. Our diverse staff includes contracted psychiatrists, physicians, licensed social workers and marriage family therapists, residential counselors, coordinators, activities coordinators, nurses, occupational therapists, peer supports and dietary consultants.

Front St. Inc. is committed to grow and focus on developing innovative programs which meet the diverse needs of the mental health community.
